Mr. Wick’s practice emphasizes the defense of medical negligence claims. He routinely represents health care providers before the State's Health Care Quality Assurance Commission. He also focuses his practice on the defense of personal injury and product liability cases involving complex medical issues.

BACKGROUND
Born in Monroe, Washington, Mr. Wick has resided in the Puget Sound area all of his life.

Mr. Wick is a former firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician. For five years, Mr. Wick was a Department Manager for Providence Hospital in Everett, Washington. He served in the United States Air Force for six years.

Mr. Wick has been admitted to practice in the States of Washington and Alaska, the United States District Court, Western and Eastern Districts of Washington and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.

Mr. Wick is AV-rated by Martindale Hubbell (highest rating available -- www.martindale.com), and has regularly been named a "Super Lawyer" by Washington Law & Politics, since 2002. Mr. Wick is a former member of the Board of Directors for the Washington State Society of Healthcare Attorneys and the Washington Health Care Risk Management Society. He is a regular contributor to articles on medical malpractice defense and a frequent lecturer to physicians and lawyers on this subject.

Mr. Wick’s clients include: Virginia Mason Medical Center, Group Health Cooperative, Harrison Medical Center, Peace Health, Physician’s Insurance, Proliance Surgeons, Highline Medical Center, The Doctor's Company, AMN Healthcare, CNA, Washington Casualty Company, and several other health care organizations and insurers.
